Diana was born in Warsaw, New York on June 10, 1940 a daughter to the late Frank Clyde and Evelyn Marie (Ellis) Lemley.She was a 1958 graduate of Perry Central School and Morrisville College.Diane was a member of St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church in Perry), a member of the Red Hatter Society, a former girl scout and 4-H leader. She enjoyed baking, cooking, canning, sewing, toil painting, doing rushing on chairs, ceramic, going to auctions, collecting antiques, camping with her family and going to square dances. She was a cherished and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.She is survived by three daughters: Judith Ann Kneeppel of Geneseo, Jodine Lynn (Robert) Carter of Perry, Jami Lee (Wallace Swezey) Kneeppel of Ocala, Fla., a son: Robert Gerald Kneeppel Jr. of Rochester, two sisters: Patricia Lynn (Jacob) Rewa of Perry, Leota Marie Lemley of Gates, one brother: Jerome David (Mary) Lemley of Wyoming, two grandchildren: Stephanie (Aman) Mehta and Daniel Carter, two great grandchildren: Maxton and Sunaina Mehta, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Robert G. LaGeorgia, 92, of Perry passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Strong Memorial hospital in Rochester.Rose was born in Perry, N.Y., on June 20, 1926, a daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Massa) Sardina.Rose worked for the former Perry Knitting Mill and in the Dietary Department at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.She was a member of St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church in Perry).Rose enjoyed playing bingo and cards, crocheting, baking for all her family members or just spending times with family and friends.She is survived by a two daughters, Kathy (Alan) Burns of Castile, Patricia (Randy) Moore of Perry; two sons, Richard (Robby) Sardina of Silver Springs, Robert LaGeorgia of Perry; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. LaGeorgia, who passed away in 1987; siblings, Josephine Natolie, Anna Desimore, Samuel and Frank “Chic” Sardina.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 18, at St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church in Perry) at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Perry.
